Create desired player experiences through game economy, balance, and feature tuning across the entire game;
Strong sensitivity to gameplay and game design, understanding how to build needs and emotions in the context of a game;
Strong marketing knowledge, able to formulate adequate selling strategies to improve the financial performance;
Analyse player experience of feature tuning and balance through building simulation tools and analysing player data;
Assess and apply qualitative and quantitative feedback to improve game balance and experience;
Statistics knowledge, able to formulate ratios and indexes specific to each game, identifying specific weaknesses and strengths in its economy design;
Define the virtual products and their statistics with the development team, and understand how each of them contributes to the game dynamics;
Identify the potential sale drivers for the different product categories in the game economy and define the key points of exposure for those drivers;
Work collaboratively with other designers and cross-functionally with UX, engineering, and product management on the design and implementation of new game features;
Create and own the implementation of fun, engaging in-game events and other game content;
Create clear and complete game design documentation for game balance, content, and features
Drive delivery of Zombie Gunship Survival’s client updates by leading development and coordinating work across multiple teams and disciplines;
Fulfil the role of project manager for your team using task management software and scheduling techniques that are a blend of agile development methods and common game content development methods;
Partner with a creative lead and a technical lead to maximise the productivity of a game content team and to explore new opportunities in process and workflows;
Help the team identify and design sustainable solutions that maximise value for our players and improve team efficiency;
Maintain a high-level lens across multiple teams to ensure consistency and establish best practices to ensure quality results;
Collaborate with the Head of Product, stakeholders, and partner teams to translate goals into development plans and validate that our schedule aligns with all dependencies;
Proactively identify gaps and bottlenecks that may prevent the team from achieving their goals in a timely manner;
Build, maintain and evolve a creative environment, resolve personnel challenges, motivate developers, serve as custodian of team health, set an example of positivity and foster a culture of success;
Coach and guide the production team toward defining and achieving their career goals;
Develop and drive long term strategies and improvements for the wider Zombie Gunship Survival team;
Contribute to the culture and discipline of ‘Production’ at Studio Firefly;
Perform in-depth analyses to provide answers to specific business questions and acquire a deep understanding of player behaviour
Report and present findings and actionable recommendations to respective teams and key stakeholders
Monitor, identify and investigate changes in KPIs and provide insights into the underlying cause of such changes
Conduct a variety of ad hoc data analyses and fulfil data requests for new product/version releases, design documentation, marketing material, and user acquisition campaigns
Design and document tracking specifications for core KPIs, feature additions, experimentation, and user acquisition campaigns
Create thoughtful and compelling dashboards to monitor KPIs and performance for our current and future game titles
Check and debug any data-related issues to ensure accurate tracking and data integrity
Assist with the development of new tools and processes for data analysis across the company
