To own, monitor + drive all sales activities of the field + inside sales organization
To focus on customer facing activities + be actively involved in the generation of sustainable new business opportunities with a clear focus on SME
To monitor competitor activity by gathering+ communicating current information on pricing + products.
Perform all aspects of the sales process and input & update all relevant activities utilizing Kuehne + Nagel systems daily
To focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention + reactivation through high levels of service quality in close collaboration with the operational team
Implement and maintain continuous improvement techniques and Kuehne-Nagel Process Systems-tools such as: lean six sigma, 5S, visual management, standardization, process status boards, process control boards, and more
Validate DMAIC savings and CI progress with Site Manager and National Process Systems Manager and document through the Corporate Tracker tool
Train, coach, and support of employees at various levels in the site on in applying continuous improvement techniques and tools
Actively identify and create the conditions to reach a culture of participation and involvement in which continuous improvement becomes self-evident
Perform administration linked to continuous improvements such as developing and maintaining training LSS - manuals, LSS – documentation, reporting on the progress of the Kuehne-Nagel Process Systems implementation, and more
Active participation in VSM (Value Stream Mapping) events with the operational teams to identify improvement opportunities and DMAIC projects throughout the business
Identify, lead and deliver LSS Green Belt level projects for the sites in line with site objectives and budget requirements together with operational teams
Identify and contribute to solutions that add value to customers’ business

Operational duties to include coordination with shippers, truckers, steamship lines and KN offices for the export of shipments
Complete process of shipment includes arranging for pick-up or inland transportation, booking, document preparation (bill of lading, KN invoicing, certificate of origin, export declaration and/or AES, if applicable) forwarding, follow-up with tracking and tracing to final destination and data quality requirement.
Customer Service responsibilities include maintaining communication with vendor, shipper, customer, carrier and K+N overseas offices throughout the process and choosing proper routing appropriate to the customer's needs
Negotiate cost-effective rates with service providers to ensure maximum profitability
Maintain SOP (standard operating procedures) and customer profiles including key contacts, special requirements, contract rates and preferred routings/services/carriers.
Immediately report problems, operation disputes or discrepancies to supervisor, manager or divisional manager
