Part of a dedicated team providing services/support for on-premises and Azure cloud solutions built on virtual and physical infrastructures
Provide appropriate day-to-day support, maintenance and administrative duties for the server environment and enterprise applications (Active Directory, Windows Servers, SCCM, SCOM, DPM, SQL Servers, VMware, Office 365 environment, Azure cloud, etc.) that reside within the Cmed infrastructure environment
Design, implement, and test solutions based on Cmed’s functional and business requirements
Responsibility for maintaining the server infrastructure and undertaking appropriate logging, monitoring, problem diagnosis and capacity management duties
Manage the server infrastructure to ensure high availability of systems to the organization
Perform installation of operating systems and application software on servers
Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
Provide monitoring and support for all enterprise applications
Develop policies procedures and other documentation required to support the infrastructure environment
Provide 2nd and 3rd line support duties and assist the Help Desk team with pertinent technical solutions
Provides advanced IT support to global users for all IT systems and services
Documents and tracks issues within a software ticketing system, with some time spent answering calls directly on the Service Desk
Resolves or escalates calls/tickets as necessary, and ensures that tickets are closed accurately and efficiently
Documents steps involved in software and hardware configuration and repair for use within the Service Desk
Trains users on the use of computer equipment as required
Performs workstation hardware set-up/troubleshoot and OS imaging as well as any software installations as needed
Manages users and groups in an Active Directory environment
Works with online services based on the Microsoft Office 365 suite (Exchange/SharePoint/OneDrive/Teams/OneNote)
Assists with any facilities requirements including the opening and setting up of new offices, control and configuration of security access and desk setups, etc
Maintains and demonstrates current knowledge of all supported systems and services and follows a framework of best practices for delivering IT services (ITIL)
Provides advanced IT support to global users for all IT systems and services
